Gorgeous spot. Worth enjoying the lookout before heading in to explore the park itself.

Amazing place off the major tourist trail. Scenery is mind-blowing and really allows you to experience the Badlands.

If you are looking for a place to take the family on a Sunday afternoon stroll, then this is a good place for you. The park road leads right down to the North Saskatchewan River. There are outhouses to change in and the river is shallow enough to wade all the way across even for a 10 year old. The scenery is spectacular. The road going down is steep and there is a sign that says "impassable when wet", but on a dry day we had no trouble.

A wonderful place to spend the day. Lots to be discovered! Great badlands scenery, lots of bird life and other wildlife; you can even find dinosaur bones if you keep your eyes open! Please do not take them home though. Report any significant findings (not just little schnibbles) to the Royal Tyrell museum, GPS coordinates are very helpful for them. Crowds are minimal, and complete solitude is easily achievable off the beaten path.

The rv sites were awesome. The hamburger concession served up amazing bugers and fries and super huge milkshakes. The sand on the beach was super white and clean.
